Blue Point BrewingSoon to celebrate its 20th birthday, Blue Point Brewing Company  is today one of America's most prestigious Craft breweries. Founded in the town of Patchogue, Long Island on the shores of the Atlantic ocean, this talented brewery was named after a local delicacy, the bluepoint oyster. Every bit as lavish as its creator's namesake, Hoptical Illusion is a big, bold IPA, bursting with caramel malts, and classical grapefruit and herbal hops. On the tongue, the creamy orange body bears rich bitter orange and grapefruit hops with an understated woody, apple note and a perfectly balanced bitterness that lingers long on the palate.Product #: 90845stars, based on 1 reviewsRegular price: 2.952.95Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Blue Point BrewingBrewed on Long Island by Blue Point Brewing, this Toasted Lager boasts a label that says breezy freshness. Indeed, this is one of the best, and most refreshing American Lagers we’ve ever tasted, thanks to no fewer than six different grains that combine to give an excellent balance of malt and hops. Toasted Lager pours yellow-orange with a slight, dissipating white head. The nose is strongly malted, with caramel, biscuit, hops, and toasted notes completing the picture. On the tongue you’ll find a spicy brew with more caramel, malt, and hops, set in a smooth, lightly sparkling, medium-body which, with a light bitterness gives satisfaction and refreshment in equal measure.Product #: 9083stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 2.852.85Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock
Blue Point BrewingBlue Point Brewing’s Summer Ale is an excellent example of the style, guaranteed to put you in good humour thanks to its warm summery notes. This sunshine quality is achieved with generous quantities of a traditional blend of malted barley and wheat not typically found in lighter ales. In the glass, Summer Ale pours yellow with a fine, light white head. The bouquet is a mix of malty and sweet scents, with light citrus, honey, and hops notes. The palate brings yet more malt with touches of hops and honey that accompany a medium body, satin texture, and light carbonation to make this the ideal partner for barbecues or a day at the beach.Product #: 9085stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 33Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Blue Point BrewingMosaic Session IPA by Blue Point Brewing of Long Island, NY, is the perfect metaphor for the brewing process, in itself a kind of mosaic in which different actors work together to make a single harmonious product. This Session IPA pours pale gold with a fine white head, and offers a bouquet full of rich fruit such as melon, grapefruit, and peach, as well as pine, malt, and biscuit scents. The medium body and light carbonation, coupled with a frank crispness give fine fruity, floral flavours alongside more malt, passion fruit, hops and citrus in a relatively bitter ensemble, to form an IPA that is thoroughly enjoyable and perfectly balanced.Product #: 9086stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 3.33.3Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

Blue Point Brewing takes its name from the famous oyster variety native to Long Island Sound’s South Bay. The name was chosen specifically for its historical connection, as Queen Victoria herself was a self-professed fan of this particular foodstuff.

The brewery’s aim, to become a supreme brewer, has taken them on a journey through cultures, people, and, most importantly, beer!

Their humble beginnings rapidly evolved into something more impressive, constantly raising the bar, even if it’s not the kind of brewery whose products you find on every supermarket shelf.

The founders, Mark and Pete, are happy simply to brew great beer in what is now Long Island’s leading brewery.
