BuxtonFor celebrating the arrival of a new brewer, Buxton decided to design a stronger Stout completely different from these splendid hoppy beers we got accustomed to. Is this beer really what they claim to be? Poured in a splendid dark colour with reddish glints, this English Stout features a thin colourful head. It challenges the nose with a breath-taking complexity of aromas such as rum, grapefruit, ripe fruit and chocolate. In the mouth, this complexity asserts itself even more by offering a fine full body at the beginning of the tasting with notes of chocolate and coffee before ending it with a finish both dry and bitter. With its reasonable ABV, the Buxton Stronge Extra Stout offers a super full body and a great deal of aromas and flavors. BuxtonCollateral Carnage is the result of a collaboration between Buxton brewery and the gypsy brewery To  ØL which has always been well known by using particular raw materials for brewing beers in an unusual way. Both creative breweries cheerfully came together in order to brew a real American strong ale. This beer has a deep orange body and a white fine crown on the top. The aroma is quite hoppy, fruity and floral. Then a malty smell adds a different touch. Yet, you can easily perceive some notes of ripe mango, peaches, toffee and liqueur. Let it wander in your mouth so you can taste the barley wine flavor, notes of pine, tangerine, resin, toffee, orange peel, and a little bit of caramel. Thus, it is slightly sweet in your mouth. The aftertaste is bitter and boozy though. The beer is medium body and bubbly. You will be able to notice that it was properly hopped.    Today, new breweries are showing that it is possible to create tasteful and standing beers without following old recipes. This American strong ale is a case in point!   Product #: 6344stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 4.94.9Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock

BuxtonThe story of this Tsar Bomba is incredible. In 1978, the now famous English Brewery Courage brewed its Imperial Russian Stout, aged it in oak barrels and bottled it. 34 years later, Buxton used the yeast of origin in order to sow their own Imperial Stout to the barrel, The Tsar. The result obtained is amazing. This English Imperial Stout displays in the glass a nice dark color topped by a great beige head both impressive and unctuous. It challenges the nose with super aromas: malty notes of chocolate, coffee, along with unexpected notes of Brett yeast due to the maturation in the original barrel. In the mouth, one will experiment a burst of flavours. We can notice for instance chocolate, coffee, black fruit and even hops flavours, coming from the dry-hopping method. Characteristic notes of Brett yeast are also noticeable in the mouth. The bitterness becomes stronger and stronger in the end and leaves the taster with an amazing impression. You will have understood, this rare beer is a true treasure. Produced in a very limited quantity, it belongs to the Special Reserve Range from Buxton where one can also find the Smokey and the Band Aid.Product #: 4336stars, based on reviewsRegular price: 18.818.8Available from: Saveur BièreCondition: New productsin stock
BuxtonThis beer is the creation of Buxton brewery and the provocative Danish brewery, Evil Twin. Anglomania is a pure English taste, brewed with a single hop and a single-malt Barley Wine. However, some claim that the beer fuses an American and British Barley Wine character. Anglomania pours a dark orange with a thin white head. The aroma is hoppy, mixed with caramel notes, malts and  alcohol. What is interesting about this beer, is that it also has a smell of marmalade that combines cherries, strawberry, orange liqueur, apple sauce and vanilla. Therefore, on the palate you will immediately feel some sweetness for the marmalade flavor, with some caramel, syrup, orange, spice, resiny hops and toffee. Alcohol and bitterness are noticeable on the palate. It has a bitter aftertaste that stays for a moment. This beer has a full body and a moderate carbonation. Definitely a nice beer to have during a chilly day when you enjoy some time with your family. The smell is funky; citrus, floral notes, tropical fruit salad, some season yeast and a peppery touch. It has a very pleasant taste of citrus, fresh grass, vinegar, spices, pepper, ripe mangoes, yeast, lemon flowers, and some waves of tart. The aftertaste is sour. Come again has a high carbonation and a light body. In overall, it is rather sweet and watery, absolutely drinkable for a sour though.
