Description
Gouden Carolus Tripel was first brewed in 1491 for the Knights of the Golden Fleece, the same recipe that Het Anker Brewery uses today.
A light blonde thanks to the exclusive use of pale malt, the bouquet is fruity and spicy with yeast notes and an attractive hops profile.
The taste is powerful as one might expect for a characterful tripel. There are inviting apricot and orange notes leading to a dry, refreshing finish.
Thanks to bottle conditioning, this beer will improve over time.
