Today available in more than 150 countries, the Corona Extra is a largely exported beer, and there’s a reason for that! Born in 1925, it is brewed with 40% rice and very few hops. Lemon zests are added while brewing. It was originally brewed for Mexican workers, but this very refreshing and cheap beer has conquered first Mexico and then the rest of the world.
This beer pours an extremely pale yellow colour with no head. It challenges the nose with aromas of malt and lemon, the flavours are similar. Light bitterness appears in the end of the tasting. It perfectly goes along with meals composed of salad and cooked ham.
