Brewski’s latest adventure into the dark art of Double Dry Hopping is Dolph DDH, a hazy gold New England IPA with a devilishly dank character. Packed to the rafters with huge creamy malt aromas and a hops profile ranging from sharp fuzzy peach and mango all the way to spicy liquorice and dank onions, there’s a whole lot going on here.
The smooth unfiltered palate hides more tasty caramel malts and a full-on hoppiness that gives fruit and funkiness in equal measure. This hops character finishes with a flourish, offering a big bittersweet caramel note and a wicked little hops burn.
