Olan’s Tart is a new hybrid Sour Ale brewed by Kinnegar Brewing using locally-sourced cider apples from their friends at Dan Kelly’s, a cider producer from just down the road.
Pouring hazy orange with a foamy white head, there’s an unmistakeable bouquet of green apples, with characteristic oak and wild yeast notes typical of great Sour Ale.
The slender, bone-dry body offers classic wild yeast and more tannic, woody notes, with a sour tang that delivers a perfect sharp finish full of funky cider sharpness.
