The Irish brewery Kinnegar Brewing are in a creative mood right now, rebooting some of their flagship beers with excellent results. Having turned a Rye Ale into a Black IPA, now they’ve rebooted their White Rabbit Session White IPA into a full-blooded New England IPA.
Featuring the same bread dough malts and phenolic clove-and-banana yeast, and more of those gorgeous citrus hops, Big Bunny crams them all into an even bigger NEIPA body with touches of mango and apricot and a long, smooth, bitter finish.
