This beer clocks up over 100 IBUs and is therefore reserved for the most seasoned palates!
Orange in colour with a thin white head
Nose combining citrus with notes of caramel
Powerful spicy flavours on the palate, superb bitterness to finish
Ruination IPA, brewed with Chinook and Centennial hops by the madmen of Stone Brewing Co, gets its name from the devastating effects it can have on your palate. Indeed, with its 100 IBUs, this beer is reserved for fans of the genre!
Although the appearance of this American beer is fairly standard, with its orange hues and thin white head, its nose reveals a whole new level of complexity: here we find pine and citrus, but also grapefruit and, to a lesser extent, caramel. Its flavours are a feat of bodybuilding, with an incredible intensity - sweetness quickly overtaken by a powerful bitterness and spicy notes. An impressively long bitter finish crowns the whole ensemble!
You've got it, Ruination IPA is not a beer for debutants but rather for lovers of strong sensations. Stone IPA should nevertheless reconcile novices with the brewery.
