The Westmalle Dubbel Brune is a Belgian beer brewed in the Trappist Abbaye de Notre Dame de la Trappe du Sacré Cœur. Pouring a warm mahogany colour, it develops an impressive and long-lasting beige head. It releases powerful malty aromas with floral scents, tones of caramelized alcohol and yeast. In the mouth, the delicacy is obvious. One will immediately notice the liquorice, the subtly burned caramel, toasted notes and the dry and long bitterness.
