Corsendonk Agnus is a blonde, top-fermented Abbaye–style beer by Corsendonk., produced at the neighbouring Brasserie du Bocq.
Pouring orange covered with a thick head, Agnus breathes fruity, spicy scents with appreciable malt, hops and yeast notes.
The taste is a well-rounded mix of malt and hops, which bring a fruity, bitter note. A spicy edge reveals the effect of the yeast, and the bitter note completes proceedings.
This well-balanced beer from Corsendonk is easy-drinking thanks in part to an inconspicuous alcohol profile.
