BrewDog's Dog D is an Imperial Stout brewed in Scotland by BrewDog to celebrate is 8th birthday. With an alcohol content of 16.1% and barrel aged with chocolate and chilli it is full of bold flavours.
Pouring jet-black with a coffee-coloured head, Dog D's bouquet is powerful yet subtle, breathing dark malt, black chocolate, chilli, coffee, and liquorice.
On the tongue this Imperial Stout evokes intense molasses, dark chocolate, spicy hops and naga chillis flavours. It boasts a velvety texture and an alcohol note that works well with the chillis to warm the palate leaving a lingering heat.
